Yes, but unrelated.: It is not uncommon for a woman to have a miscarriage at least once during her reproductive years, which means it is normal for some pregnancies to not make it to term. I wouldn't worry too much. Being tumbled in a wave on the beach shouldn't have any effect on whether a miscarriage happens or not.
