Formaldehyde: Inhalation of industrial formaldehyde has been shown to cause exposed individuals to have a decrease in performance, lack of concentration, loss of memory, disturbed sleep, impaired balance, variations in mood, and irritability. Oral exposure has been found to cause lethargy, seizure, and loss of consciousness in occupational exposure, the neurotoxicity is low.
