Many causes: There are several things that can cause abnormal bleeding on birth control pills. If this is your first package, it can simply be your body adjusting to the pills. It can be caused by not taking them at the same time everyday or missing them. It can also be a symptom of an infection such as chlamydia. Hope this is of some help.
