I take endep10 at night for weak sensitive bladder. can i take 10g 5htp in the morning? as endep10 is a low dose?? thanks

Altho your dose of …: Endep (amytriptyline) is low, both it and 5-HTP increase serotonin levels which may lead to elevated blood pressure & increased heart rate (potentially leading to shock); so it's best NOT to use this combination of drugs. Further, HTP causes drowsiness, so taking it in the AM may be problematic, as amitriptyline also causes drowsiness Have FP review problems & meds to find safer combination.
