Treatment varies: intestinal worms do not move into your lungs from your intestines. A chest X-ray would not show worms in your lungs directly but it might show any inflammation or infiltrates that their effects on your lungs if it were possible. As for treatment, different worms are treated with different meds or surgery. You should see either a GI or Infection specialist regarding your treatment options.

Ask your gastroenter: Treatment, if any, depends on the type of worms, the extent of the burden of worms, any symptoms. Some worms may actually be good for you. How do you know you have worms? What kind? More than one kind?
