Normal: Bronchial irritation after a respiratory infection can persist for several weeks. As long as you do not have fever, shortness of breath or chest pain a mild productive cough can be normal. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Went to Dr. Dx'ed with bronchitis coughing up blood speckled and streaked phlegm. Steroid shot z pack 17th 19th now cough a little better today but still bring up blood streaked phlegm when should I expect blood to stop and if not by to be seen again?
