19 month old has been vomiting for about 16 hours now. no diarrhea and no loss of appetite. highest temp was 99.5. what could this be?

Many things: In answering this question we would like to know recent contacts with illness, hydration status of the child, any recent or past history of urinary tract infections, among other things. We certainly are seeing lots of vomiting viruses this time of year. So that is certainly the most common cause of this illness. Urinary tract infection CAN present this way also.
