Pcp gave me breo to try for asthma. tried once, seemed ok. fda hates. other md switched me to symbicort (budesonide and formoterol). cannot tolerate. is breo safe?

They are similiar: Keep in mind that these are similiar inhalers, they both contain an inhaled steroid. the breo in addition contains a long acting brohchodilator. Each of these inhalers are considered " preventive inhalers" and taking one dose on one day would not be helpful. They both take several weeks of dosing as prescribed to feel better! Is there a reason for the doctor switch?
