Heart beats: The hart will not be suffocated unless there is a lot of fluid in the sac that surrounds the heart (pericardium), which is usually caused by an infection. It is common to feel the beats of your heart when your are lying down especially on the left side. Next you see your doctor have her/him listen for bruit over your head to make sure everything is OK
