A member asked:

What is the normal reaction to living with cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely very hard.: This situation is often difficult to explain and takes personal experience. Very often patients feel powerless and frustrated that they cannot do something about their condition. Others may feel depressed. This is where they need the help of others the most. Help from family is likely the first, best source. Other sources include support groups, and possibly, counseling.
