Possible danger sign: You should consult your obstetrician or seek medical attention ASAP to make sure you do not have a major complication of your pregnancy. If your placenta seems to be normal and in good position on ultrasound, if your vaginal exam, blood pressure, blood counts are normal and your "spotting and low stomach pains" subside, you will be OK...but be safe. Get checked by an obstetrician now.

Pre-term labor?: There is no way to be sure without a visit to your Ob; however pain and spotting is concerning for pre-term labor. You really need to go in an get evaluated. Other possibilities are an infection or a UTI. Best wishes!
