PVCs are common: PVCs (Premature Ventricular Complexes) are common. Many normal people have a few PVCs. In some people they become more frequent. If there is no evidence of organic heart disease, with normal left ventricular function, and no ischemia (that is, no blockage in the coronary arteries), as shown by a normal EchoCG and a Stress test, PVCs are harmless. Anxiety may increase PVCs in some people.
