Is there anything that would falsely throw off both a fibrotest and a fibroscan?? and r these reliable? have liver symptoms but both came back fine

Need more info.: In order to answer this question properly, we need more info, such as what are your "liver symptoms," and what is your underlying liver disease? These tests are useful once a diagnosis of liver disease has been made, to determine severity, but they are not useful in making the initial diagnosis. I would either give us more information here, or go back to your liver doctor to ask his evaluation.
