12/24, received 1 unit of blood for hct 9, h.r. 114, and extreme weakness. although better, still quite weak w/intermittent high h.r. is this normal?

Transfusion: if your HCT was 9 I would not think that one unit of PRBCs would raise your blood count very much at all. So yes in this scenario it is normally abnormal for you to still feel weak and have an elevated HR. This is because you are still severely anemic.
