Brown: discharge usually indicates :old" blood. Can't tell what this is due to but suggest if it recurs you discuss it with your GYN Provider! Hope this helps DrZ

Period: This is common as your period starts and that may well be all that it is. Other possibilities are that this is an implantation bleed and you are pregnant, you have an infection, there are abnormal cells on your cervix, or you have a polyp. To say if any of these are likely would require more history but the most likely is that it is just your period starting. Hope this helps.
