To start...: The first thing I would suggest to check for is pregnancy if you have been sexually active recently. Other possibilities: Infection, spotting if you are in birth control hormones, hormonal variation, ruptured ovarian cyst, among other less common. My advise is to see a gynecologist for exam and tests as needed.
