Dermographism: Zyrtec-----generic is ceterizine, same but cheaper. Can take daily if need. Some need 2. Some feel sleepy and try instead claratin or Allegra. May need cream to reduce itch. OTC Aveeno, (oatmeal) Eucerin, etc can help. Prescription triamcinolone comes in a 16 oz jar. Dermographism is a physical urticaria, not an allergy. Histamine is released from mast cells in skin by rubbing or scratching or pressure.
