No : Many of them are just trying to get to you the information that you need to be informed about the labor and delivery process. I would recommend asking the person to whom you make your appointment with how the class is, and then you can make the decision on whether you want to go or not.

No: Childbirth classes are very helpful. Weird and holistic are not the same thing. Holistic means respecting the whole patient. Weird means .... Weird.
