Gastritis/GERD: A common question among young people. Diet is a big player in this. There are certain substances that can decrease your sphincter tone and then predisposing you to have heart burn. Coffee, Chocolate, abundant meals, smoking. In addition there is a bacteria known as H.Pylori (easily treatable) than can also cause bad heart burn. Cheers! C
