My doctor says i have ibs. but i think it's gastritis. i had a painful stomach infection sometime ago and i turned lactose intolerant right after. i wasn't lactose intolerant before. is this normal?

Hmm: Gastritis is inflammation of your stomach. If you are lactose intolerant this should not be due to your stomach as the small intestine digests lactose via the enzyme lactase. I would follow up with your doctor for more answers. Good luck.
