My child started antibiotics saturday night for ear infection she didn't have a fever before but started to have one sunday evening.

She probably has a: virus at the same time as the ear infection. In fact, the ear infection may even be caused by a virus. In either of those cases, antibiotics won't treat the infection, so she could still develop a fever. Continue her antibiotic as prescribed, treat her fever, if she's uncomfortable, with ibuprofen or acetaminophen, and call her doctor if she's not improving in a few days or if she's worsening.
