Strange: ask for a second opinion physician. There is nothing wrong with that. In NYC we have up to five different opinions in some patients. Recruit the brain cells. They are trained for it.

Unusual: It is not common to develop symptoms like these after a blood patch. It is unlikely that 5 days after the patch they would start. If you have a return of the headache it is more likely that your CSF leak has returned. Some people will need for than one blood patch to cure a spinal headache
