Slower ...: and more efficient. I don't think I would choose the words weaker or stronger to describe bisoprolol's effect on heart rate. Bisoprolol is a beta blocker, a class of medicines for which we have a LOT of experience & which, overall, have proved very safe. Bisoprolol works to block cardiac nerve impulses. It slows the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body

Bisoprolol: Bisoprolol is used for hypertension/angina, it works by slowing the heart rate down ( pulse is slower)

Bisoprolol: It is a beta blocker typically used for blood pressure control. It works by slowing the heart rate down so in a sense it weakens or slows the pulse. It is also a medication that should NOT be stopped abruptly and used with caution in patients that have asthma
