Daughter had a mild fever for two days and now has a stuffy nose, what could it be she has? and what would be the best medication for stuffy nose?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible virus: As usual the symptoms are very non specific and could be due to a cold. If the fever surpasses 102 Fahrenheit or is present for more than 4 days I would suggest evaluation by your childs doctor. Medications for congestion depends on your childs age. It is usually not recommended to give over the counter cold meds to children less than 2 years,. For older kids any preparation with sudafed may be us
