They might: Cavities that are left untreated can result in abscesses. The infections can spread to other parts of your body and in rare cases result in death. Have your teeth restored to maintain your smile and overall good health.

Possible: If they lead to infected tooth which becomes an abscess, then the infection from this can be carried via the blood stream to other parts and organs of the body. Best not to ignore the cavities. Good Luck.
