A member asked:

Why would you miscarry if you had cervical cancer that had spread to your right ovary and uterus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Multiple factors: I'm a bit surprised that HealthTap sent this question to a dentist but I do have about 2 years of medical school so I will answer it. The most common cause would be an incompetent cervix that simply cannot hold the fetus in once it reaches the end of the first trimester, the second would be APS or antiphospholipid syndrome, and the third, a bit far fetched, would be paraneoplastic syndrome.
