Its genrally hard to: see your lunate, and if it were really sticking out it would be traumatically dislocated and you wouldnt be casually typing questions. But is there a ganglion cyst, a tenosynovial mass, a prominent carpal boss, a tumor ( typically benign) See a hand specialist for an accurate evaluation
