Why does my back hurt so badly when i sleep on my back?

Depends: Maybe you bed is too hard or too soft. If it's too hard, your body weight can produce pain at the pressure points of your back because you back is not straight. This pain is even more if you are skinny and have no body fat to use as cushion. If it's too soft, your back can bend too much and pain is produced from over stretching back muscles and ligaments.
