The splint may: not be the best fit for your hands or it can be putting stress on the injury such as a ligament injury or fracture or it can be irritating a nerve that lies just below the skin or even a small portion of the splint may be too tightThe best thing to do is talk to the supplier of prescriber of or maker of the splint and make sure it's fitted properly and also that it's the right split for the injury
