A member asked:

Why do some people have one color for one eye and a different color for the other?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually nerve damage: The development of the adult color depends upon the presence of a normal sympathetic input to the eyes. If this is impaired, usually by injury and sometimes by vascular or tumor compression, then that eye will be light in color compared to the other. There are a few rare condtions that will also do this.
