A member asked:

Why do people with hyperthyroidism produce more iodine than other people?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hyperthyroidism: It does not always work that way. Excess iodine in your food can cause or exacerbate hyperthyroidism. You should ask your doctor to check your iodine level.
