Combination Drugs: Narcotics are not by themselves toxic to the liver. Commonly prescribed combination drugs such as Lorcet (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) ( hydrocodone with acetaminophen) and Percocet (oxycodone with aceta.) are hepatotoxic due to the acetaminophen component.
