A member asked:

When you use tinactin (tolnaftate) cream for athlete's foot, what do the directions mean by "pay special attention to spaces between toes"?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do not apply: Don't apply the cream to in between your toes. If you do, make sure you rub them in really well. Creams, moisturize. Increase in moisture leads to maceration in between toes and then increase in fungal infection. I would apply the cream only to my feet and Tinactin (tolnaftate) spray in between my toes.
