A member asked:

When will the 3d printing of organs, such as kidneys, start helping patients?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Organs that are 3D: An organ (O) is composed of cells. and 3D printing does not copy the cells of an organ. Merely copying the shape of an O does not make the copy work the same a real O does, sorry.
