Relaxation vs volume: Botox acts to relax the muscles that cause lines of facial expression (like the 11's & crow's feet), leading to a smoothing of wrinkles. Fillers act to replace lost volume, actually filling in the lines. Botox is generally used in the upper face, fillers in the lower face (though there can be exceptions). Botox Vs. Filler: Botox is a relaxer of muscles. It will make the muscle not to be able to contract. Fillers are used to fill an area or to give volume. Hope this helps.
