R/O BELLS PALSY: Unilateral facial weakness can be secondary to a sub clinical HSV infection. Bell's palsy can respond to Prednisone /Valtrex combo. You need a prompt Exam and Labs. Bells Palsy if recurrent can be Secondary to LYME DISEASE. Also unilateral Facial weakness can be a sign of a CVA. Seek prompt medical evaluation.

Be patient: The prognosis for individuals with Bell's palsy is generally very good and spontaneous recovery is fairly common. Primary medications for management are prednisone and antivirals such as acyclovir and famciclovir.
