Lymphadenopathy: Swollen lymph glands can be due to many different things: infections (bacterial, viral, tubercular, fungal), inflammation (lupus, sarcoidosis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.), and cancer (lymphoma and others) being the most common. The only way to make a proper diagnosis is to see a doctor and determine whether or not a biopsy is appropriate.
