What can you tell me about nortriptyline? can it help my depression?

Antidepressant: Nortryptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant. It was sold under the trade names of Pamelor (nortriptyline) and Aventyl. It is an effective medication. However, it has more side effect potential than the SSRI antidepressants.
