An informed decision: There are a great many different types of cancer and cancer meds. Some keep aggressive cancers at bay. Others work for a while, then fail and can be discontinued in favor of a different treatment, or palliative care. Your husband will decide based on discussions with his oncologist. We do want to rule out depression, which may cause this kind of talk despite a good ongoing response.
