What can cause the whites of my eyes to turn a greyish blue?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thinning of sclera: When the white of the eye(sclera) gets thin then the uveal tissue the inner lining of retina show through as a gray blue color. Sclera can get thin near eye muscle insertion with age or with autoimmune disease secondary to an inflammation. Pls consult an ophthalmologist for an eye exam.
