A member asked:

If someone with colic doesn't get surgery, do they usually end up passing away?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Colic: By definition, colic is characterized by long periods of crying in otherwise healthy babies, and not due to a particular medical condition. It is not treated with surgery and is never life threatening. Perhaps your are referring to another condition?
