A member asked:

Can strong emotions or intense cerebral activity trigger a small seizure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, not these: A seizure is normally caused by irritation of the surface of the brain, as in the setting of an injury or an infection, or a congenital change that leads to a risk of seizures. Intense cerebral activity (example?) or strong emotions do not cause epileptic seizures.
