Im 17 years old, and im having second thoughts of joining a gym or not because many people told me it will stunt my growth or not. does it?

No problem: Joining a gym and doing exercises do not stunt growth. To not hurt the body, one should avoid excessive exercise with unusually heavy weights.

Power lifting & body building are not recommended until the kid reaches skeletal maturity (final height, b.O., shaves
