An EEG within 10 : days of your last episode would likely show abnormal electrical discharges, if it were a seizure. An overnight sleep study with EEG montage would show why you night-wake & an epileptic pattern if your sensory symptoms are accompanied by seizure activity. Other causes of syncope can be cardiac or neurologic in origin, or from a systemic disorder. See your doctor for appropriate referrals.
