Lubricant : Chapped lip s are treated with Chapstick or lip balm to protect as allow them to heal this is usually made of petrolatum which is also called Vaseline Simalar beeswax or oil and vitamin E can be mixed in with petrolatum to protect chapped lips from the elements that cause dry cracking lips
