What is the most preferred (safe and effective) prescription drug for treating migraines during pregnancy?

Migraine: I usually tell my pregnant patient to use tylenol (acetaminophen) or acetominophen. Adding some caffeine at the onset of the headache also very helpful. Occasional caffiene intake is fine by the way. 12oz of coffee should work

Prescription?: If your question is which prescription medication for migraine is safest as opposed to which medication is safest then the answer is "none." All prescription medications typically used for migraines are categorized as either C, D, or X during pregnancy.
