Low Body Temperature: Low body temperature can be due to an infection especially as you say you are sick. The other causes of low body temp are Cold exposure alcohol or drug use Diabetes Hypothyroidism sepsis If lower temp of 96.3 persists in normal surrounding temp,then you should get yourself checked by your doctor
