Head pain: Head pain while standing but not with sitting or lying down is unusual. Neuralgia which is an irritability of superficial scalp nerves would be a possible cause. It is more of a nuisance than anything serious and tends to clear up without any specific treatment. If it recurs a neurologist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you.
