Holter 24 hour test: The starting point is a 24 hour holter monitor and some blood work (thyroid profile, electrolytes). Often times palpitations are benign and may be seen in the setting of caffeine or other stimulant use or withdrawal from short acting benzodiazepines. I hope this is helpful information.
