Fatty liver: Fatty liver can be due to alcohol, or Non-alcoholic liver disease. In either case, stopping alcohol consumption is important. Some cases of non-alcoholic fatty liver are related to underlying causes (such as hepatitis, medications or autoimmune disease). Treat any underlying condition. Weight loss and limiting certain foods like bread, rice, potatoes, and sugar may help.
